A stunning and innovative timepiece that merged UG's attentive Swiss design language with future-forward American movement.
From the 1970s, this is a vintage Universal Geneve wristwatch with an electronically controlled tuning fork movement caliber 1-53 (based on the Bulova 2182F), 15 jewels, sweep second, day/date (day sets by changing 18-24h and date quicksets), electrical hack feature, unadjusted, 360Hz, Swiss made.
Super unique and still in lovely condition, this watch is cased in a 34mm tonneau shape polished-finish case and brushed-finish fixed bezel. Case and bezel in 10KT yellow gold electroplate and stainless-steel back. Original signed Universal Geneve crown.
In pristine condition, super clean, the original silver champagne textured dial featuring black/gold hour marks, luminous dots, gold/luminous matching hands, and a black sweep second hand. The dial is signed with the marriage artfully denoted by the unique UG/Accutron logo, Universal Geneve and Unisonic. The day/date window is located at 3 o’clock.
It comes on a new-old-stock black Crocodile Grain two-piece strap.

Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
